Merigeta Dr. Yichalewal obtained different certificates from George Simon Ohm Technical institute in the Dutch language for beginners; the third Africalics conference, and the 4th National Annual Research Conference, which was conducted at Kombolcha Institute of Technology, Wollo University. With over 25 years of experience, he worked as a production head of W/o Siheen TVET college production center. Besides, he served as a distance and continuing education coordinator, university-industry linkage officer, deputy scientific director, and scientific director at Kombolcha technology institute, Wollo University.
Merigeta Dr. Yichalewal Gebremaryam is an industrial engineer with more than 25 years of experience in Ethiopia, Africa. He earned first and second degrees in manufacturing engineering from Adama and Bahir Dar Universities, respectively. Merigeta Dr. Yichalewal received Ph.D. in industrial engineering, with a focus on system design of reverse engineering adoption and implementation, from the school of mechanical and industrial engineering, Addis Ababa Institute of Technology, Addis Ababa University in 2022 in collaboration with a German academic organization, DAAD.
Merigeta Dr. Yichalewal served as a member of the Industrial Engineering Association. He translated mechanical engineering terms to Amharic under the supervision of Addis Ababa University and Ethiopian Science Academy. He has published various peer-reviewed research articles in renowned international journals. Merigeta Dr. Yichalewal is proficient in many software programs including MS Office, Auto CAD, Solid Works, CATIA, SPSS, and Super Decision. He is also proficient in the Geez language.
